The programmer can copy one chip to another chip without requiring connection to a PC. Just supply 5V power to the USB port using the supplied plugpack
When the programmer detects two chips on the socket, it will  automatically start the copying operation.
1. When off-line copying, the programmer must be connected to 5V power.
2. The programmer can copy data to a 24 eeprom from another 24 eeprom.
3. The programmer can copy data to a 25 flash from another 25 flash.
4. The capacity and type of the destination chip must be equal to the source chip.

DIP devices can go straight onto the ZIF socket, 208mil SOIC and SOP devices require an adapter like the one shown below which is available here.
For 150mil SOIC devices just use a 150mil SOIC16 to DIP16 adapter and place the two chips onto it. These are available here.
